Spring Runoff Ski Pitz wet meet 07

Saturday looked like it was going to be a washout for the 2008 Ski Pitz wet meet but Peter Brubaker and I loaded up the truck with the Feather Craft in tow and headed out at 6:00 with a pit stop for breakfast on the way .
There was a decent crowd there when we arrived at about 8:30 but not too many boats on the water ( 3 and a race boat )and as usual the crowd broke up very early. Bruce R.

ACBS Winter Workshop

The Winter Workshop was held at Clarion Boats in Cambellford Ont. on February 17th. The weather co-operated and the covers were removed from the boats in the parking lot for our viewing pleasure. The day included 4 seminars 2 of
which were about outboards. Ken Kirk presented the history of the outboard and Ron Stevenson covered off repair and restoration. There were well over 100 people in attendance and an excellent buffet lunch was served.

Pics from the Mount Dora Boat Show in Florida

Member Gerry C was in Florida and happened to attend the Mount Dora Boat Show in March 06. He was impressed with the boats and motors shown, and has sent us a number of pictures taken by himself and wife Maureen.
