MLC Headline News

Maple Leaf Chapter is pleased to post a copy of the Motor Card members can fill out when displaying motors at shows. There is a sample card (so you can see how to fill out the card) (sample);    and a blank card which you can fill in onscreen and print, or print out blank and fill in later (blank), members are encouraged to get involved, displaying or helping at a show where you will meet new people, learn more about your hobby and possibly gain leads on new motors or accessories. Members should print the cards on cardstock (heavy printing paper) or print out and glue to heavy stock (if necessary you can cut the back from a cereal box). Please try to keep things neat - you are proud of your collection!

Updating the Canadian Model/Serial Number Guide

             The MLC Steering committee has decided to issue an updated and expanded edition of the Canadian Model/Serial Number Guide.  We are particularly interested in (but not limited to) including 1960 and later motors, as it seems these are more frequently coming in to the possession of our members.

             Richard L. Paquette will edit the new edition; please contact Richard regarding revisions and updates of the current edition;

Maple Leaf Chapter member Bob Skinner has contributed some antique outboard motors to the new Grace and Speed marine museum in Gravenhurst at the wharf. If you're in the area, this is worth a look. The exhibit will be updated in the spring, and boats are sometimes replaced, so check back when you get a chance.
